Timahoe Heritage Center:

Timahoe Heritage Center is a former Church of Ireland church in the village of Timahoe, Co. Laois built c. 1840. The scope of works consisted of like-for-like exterior repair of the roof, rainwater goods, windows, and doors along with the modernization of the heritage center internally. Works included the improved stud partition layout of the nave and vestry and an upgraded reception desk, coffee dock, kitchenette, and WC. Works also included the upgrade of internal floors, painting of internal walls and the upgrading of electrical and mechanical services throughout

Presentation Sisters Convent

Protected Structure
The Presentation Sisters Convent is a protected structure. This project comprised of a M&E Package valuing €645,000 (Subcontractor Cost) and was a full strip-out of existing services to a building in excess of 1000m2 internal area. From our end we had to price accordingly and deliver in a timely manner. The building works required to complete the M&E package included arranging and erecting access equipment (scaffolding, mobile towers, boom lifts etc), coring holes, creating new openings in existing walls, fireproofing services, chasing walls etc.

A renovation and refurbishment of a protected structure dating from 1666 in conjunction in consultation with the National Heritage Council to facilitate a viewing gallery, café and public amenities. Careful considerations were taken throughout to try to keep the heritage of the building. Works included Mech & Elec, Glazing, Joinery specialist heritage stone works etc.
